This Google Social Login Agreement (the “Agreement”) is a legal agreement between you (the “User,” “you,” or “your”) and X‑GORB (together with its parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, and partners, “X‑GORB,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using your Google Account to log in to your X‑GORB Account (the “Google Social Login Service”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, Google’s Terms of Service (available at https://policies.google.cn/terms?hl=en), and all other policies, amendments, and guidelines incorporated by reference. This Agreement supplements our core Terms of Service and governs your use of the Google Social Login Service specifically.
1. Service Overview
The Google Social Login Service is a secure, third-party authentication method provided by X‑GORB, enabling you to access your X‑GORB Account using your existing, authenticated Google Account. This service leverages industry-standard protocols, including OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect, to facilitate secure, passwordless authentication without requiring you to create or remember additional login credentials for X‑GORB. Use of this service is entirely optional, but if you choose to use it, you agree to comply with all terms set forth in this Agreement.
To use the Google Social Login Service, you must have a valid Google Account that complies with Google’s Terms of Service and age requirements. If you are under the age required to manage your own Google Account, you must have your parent or legal guardian’s permission to use the Google Social Login Service, and your parent or legal guardian shall be bound by this Agreement on your behalf.
2. User Responsibilities
You agree to use the Google Social Login Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with this Agreement, X‑GORB’s policies, and Google’s Terms of Service. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your Google Account, including any passwords, biometric credentials, or two-factor authentication methods associated with your Google Account. You acknowledge that any unauthorized access to your Google Account may result in unauthorized access to your X‑GORB Account, and you shall promptly notify both X‑GORB and Google of any suspected unauthorized use of your Google Account or the Google Social Login Service.
You shall not: (a) use a Google Account that is not legally owned or authorized by you; (b) share, sell, lend, or transfer access to your X‑GORB Account via the Google Social Login Service to any third party; (c) manipulate, tamper with, or exploit the Google Social Login Service or underlying authentication protocols; (d) use the service for fraudulent, illegal, or infringing activities; or (e) attempt to bypass or circumvent any security measures implemented by X‑GORB or Google for the service.
3. Data Collection, Privacy, and Information Sharing
By using the Google Social Login Service, you authorize Google to share limited, necessary information with X‑GORB to authenticate your identity and provide the service. This information is collected and processed in compliance with our Privacy Policy, Google’s Privacy Policy, and applicable global data protection laws (including but not limited to GDPR, CCPA, and relevant regional regulations).
The information shared by Google may include, but is not limited to: your Google Account email address, full name, profile photo (if provided), and a temporary authentication token to verify your identity. We do not collect or store your Google Account password or any sensitive credentials associated with your Google Account.
We use the information received from Google solely for the following purposes: (a) authenticating your identity to log you into your X‑GORB Account; (b) creating or linking your Google Account to your existing X‑GORB Account (if applicable); (c) personalizing your X‑GORB experience; (d) communicating with you about account, security, or service updates; and (e) detecting and preventing fraud or unauthorized access. We implement encryption and secure data storage practices to protect this information, and we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for unauthorized commercial purposes.
You may revoke X‑GORB’s access to your Google Account at any time by managing app access in your Google Account settings. Revoking access will terminate your ability to use the Google Social Login Service, but will not affect your X‑GORB Account itself (you may still log in using other authorized methods).
4. Security Requirements
The Google Social Login Service uses industry-standard security protocols (OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect) to ensure secure authentication. Authentication tokens provided by Google are time-limited and encrypted to prevent unauthorized interception or reuse. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication on your Google Account to enhance the security of both your Google Account and your linked X‑GORB Account.
We reserve the right to block, delay, or reject login attempts that appear suspicious, high-risk, or anomalous (including but not limited to multiple failed attempts, login from unusual locations, or use of compromised Google Accounts). We may also temporarily suspend the Google Social Login Service for maintenance, security updates, or operational reasons without prior notice.
To use the Google Social Login Service, you must use a supported web browser; we strongly recommend the latest version of Google Chrome for optimal security, compatibility, and support for authentication protocols required by the service.
5. Consent by Using Google Social Login
By clicking “Log in with Google” and authorizing the connection between your Google Account and your X‑GORB Account, you explicitly confirm that: (a) you are the legitimate holder of the associated Google Account and have the right to authorize access to that account; (b) you consent to X‑GORB receiving and using the limited information shared by Google to authenticate you and provide the service; (c) you accept this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and Google’s Terms of Service; (d) you understand and agree to our data processing practices for authentication and security purposes; and (e) you acknowledge that any actions performed during the login session are your sole responsibility.
6. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in the Google Social Login Service, including but not limited to the integration technology, authentication processes, software, and related documentation, are and remain the exclusive property of X‑GORB. Google’s trademarks, logos, and intellectual property are the exclusive property of Google LLC. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Google Social Login Service solely for accessing your own X‑GORB Account. You shall not copy, modify, reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or exploit any part of the service or related technology for any purpose other than authorized account access.
7. Modifications to Agreement
We may update this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, or Terms of Service periodically to reflect legal, operational, or security changes, or changes to Google’s authentication services. The revised version will be posted at the corresponding official URL (https://support.xgorb.cn/word?id=18) with the updated “Last Updated” date. The revised terms shall take effect immediately upon publication. Your continued use of the Google Social Login Service after the effective date of the revised Agreement constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. If you do not agree to the revised terms, you must cease using the Google Social Login Service.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, X‑GORB shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages (including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, account compromise, or business interruption) arising from your use of or inability to use the Google Social Login Service, including but not limited to damages caused by: (a) unauthorized access to your Google Account; (b) Google’s failure to provide authentication services; (c) technical errors or outages; or (d) your non-compliance with this Agreement or Google’s Terms of Service. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service, and we shall not be liable for any downtime or service interruptions.
X‑GORB’s total liability for any claims arising out of or related to this Agreement shall not exceed the amount you paid (if any) for accessing the X‑GORB services in the past 12 months. Nothing in this Agreement shall limit or exclude our liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or damages caused by our intentional or reckless acts.
9. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Google Social Login Service at any time, without prior notice, if: (a) you violate any term of this Agreement, our Privacy Policy, or Terms of Service; (b) you violate Google’s Terms of Service; (c) we suspect fraudulent, unauthorized, or illegal use of the service; (d) your Google Account is suspended or terminated by Google; or (e) for any other legitimate business reason. Upon termination, your right to use the Google Social Login Service shall immediately cease, and you shall be responsible for any losses incurred by X‑GORB or third parties due to your non-compliance.
You may terminate your use of the Google Social Login Service at any time by revoking X‑GORB’s access to your Google Account through your Google Account settings.
10. Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where X‑GORB’s principal place of business is located, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to this Agreement or the Google Social Login Service shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation between the parties. If negotiation fails, such disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in X‑GORB’s principal place of business.
11. Severability
If any provision of this Agreement is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be severed from the Agreement, and the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect. The invalidity of any provision shall not affect the validity of the other provisions of this Agreement.
12. Third-Party Relationships
X‑GORB is not affiliated with Google LLC. The Google Social Login Service is provided in partnership with Google, but X‑GORB is solely responsible for the service’s integration, functionality, and compliance with this Agreement. Google’s provision of authentication services is governed by Google’s own Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and X‑GORB shall not be liable for any acts or omissions of Google in connection with the service. You acknowledge that your use of Google’s services is subject to Google’s independent terms and policies.
